Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) sponsors students from inside Germany and abroad for their studies at various levels of their academic career. DAAD supports short visits for PhD students (6 months) as well as scholarships for Master, PhD studies and postdocs (up to 3 years). In this regard, DAAD is also in partnership with higher education organizations from other countries.
Zahra Ahmadi from Iran was supported by DAAD for her 6 month visit in 2013.
In partnership with Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, Atif Raza got his PhD scholarship in 2014.
